Stephen James Brokofsky

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stephen James Brokofsky on November 15, 2025. Stephen was born in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan to Parents Martin and Jean Brokofsky on December 3, 1945.

Stephen spent his childhood on the farm with his sisters, Neila, Lyn and Susan. As a young adult Stephen moved to Saskatoon and worked at Lakeshore Nurseries.

He met his wife Fern in Saskatoon, and they were married on September 26, 1970. The following years they lived in Weyburn and Rosetown, finally returning to Saskatoon where he worked at Centennial Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years.

Stephen and Fern welcomed 4 children to their family, Teresa, Kenneth, Jennifer and Rodney. In 2001 Stephen and Fern sold their house and moved to Luther Height apartments. There Stephen thrived, as he could visit, drink coffee wander around his garden plot or play pool.

Stephen was known well for his ability to talk to anyone, his love of anything holiday trailer-related and playing solitaire endlessly on the computer.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Fern of 55 years, daughter Teresa (Jason), Son Kenneth and his children, Mikenna, Jayce and Dannika, his daughter Jennifer and her children Dakota and Shyanne and his son Rodney. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Neila, Lyn, Sue, his many brothers and sisters in laws and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
