June 2, 1943 — February 21, 2023
With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley William Roy SR, on February 21st, 2023, at the age of 79 years. Stanley was born in Green Lake, SK., and passed away in Saskatoon, SK.
Stanley is survived by his brother William (Bill) Roy; sons Darryl, Kelvin & Stanley JR.; stepson Bobby; daughters Connie & Brenda; ex-wife Rita Sinclair; special friend Georgina Leibel; godchildren Edward Kennedy JR., Judy Laliberte & Stephanie Roy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Harry & Albertine Roy; brothers Jules Roy & Floyd Roy; sisters Francis Ducharme, Rose Laviolette, Alphonsine Laliberte, Violet Callioux, Doris Branetzki and Lillian DeWolfe.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Green Lake Community Hall, Green Lake, SK. Interment followed at the Green Lake Cemetery.
