It is with heavy hearts that the Bosy family announces the passing of Stanley Peter Bosy, who passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on May 1, 2026, at the age of 93.

Stan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend. He was predeceased by his wife, Sally Bosy; his sister, Mary Amundson; his parents, Peter Bosy and Rose Ruczynski; and his stepfather, Adam Ruczynski.

Stan will be lovingly remembered by his children, Saul Bosy, Sandi Scissons and her husband Patrick, and Steven Bosy; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas Scissons.

Stan worked for the City of Saskatoon for 37 years, retiring in 1993. He went on to enjoy a full and peaceful retirement filled with travel, sports, family, and the simple pleasures he loved most. Each year, he waited patiently for summer to arrive so he could return to his garden. An avid gardener by day and a stargazer by night, Stan was happiest outdoors — whether working in the soil or looking up at the stars. He found great joy in spending time in his yard and was always quick to lend a helping hand whenever help was needed.

Quiet by nature, Stan was never one to seek the spotlight, but he loved being part of the group — especially when it came time to play cards. Throughout his life, Stan was a man of faith, guided by the bibles teachings and values.

Stan lived a full life and was loved by many. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Central Haven Special Care Home, where Stan lived during his final year, for their kindness, care, and compassion, as well as to the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital for their support in his final days.
