Memorial Service
Cherished Memories Funeral Home
Starts at 2:00 pm (Central (no DST) time)
Sarah was born on September 19, 1943, in Hague, Saskatchewan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen Janzen. Husband Frank Friesen, 2 brothers, George & Willie and her sister Ann.
Left to cherish her memories are sister Tena, brothers Abe (Edna), John (Martha), Peter (Sharon), Neil (Mary), sisters-in-law Violey, Marge, adopted daughter Darlene (Phil) Peters, and grandson Terry Peters. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Sarah was a woman who knew the Lord. She never was a person who prized worldly possessions. Her joy was in making people around her happy. She never judged people, and she was kind to everyone. The bible says let your light shine, and Sarah did.
Everyone who knew her could see that light in her beautiful smile. She always put others ahead of herself and gave everyone that smile that said, ‘you are important.’
Sarah was focused on being the person God wanted her to be, and she achieved that to the very end.
Rest in Peace Sarah, with your heavenly father.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in the Cherished Memories Funeral Home, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville, SK.
