Rosanne Marie Lynn
Froese
November 15, 1967 – May 27, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosanne Marie Lynn Froese on May 27th at the age of 58.
She resided for the last 5 years at Parkside Place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Cherishing her memory are her sister Georgina, brother-in-law Jay, and Joel (Candace). Auntie Rosanne’s four adored nephews and their spouses: Bradley (Danielle), Travis (Ashley), Tyler (Tara), and Aron (Teagan). Great Auntie Rosanne was blessed to love Amber, Cara, Erica, Heidi, Zoee, Callie, Jon, Paxton, and Nellie.
Rosanne cherished many friends from all walks of life that she loved and spent time with.
Rosanne was predeceased by our parents, Niel and Marjorie Froese (2020).
Rosanne’s schooling took place at Caroline Robins Elementary school from grades one to eight, and then she completed her grade twelve at Mount Royal Collegiate. She was quite young when she discovered her passion for sewing and continued to make many wonderful items (often with no pattern to follow). Just recently, she sewed the curtains for Georgina’s home and a superhero cape for her great-nephew Jon. She was taught to knit at an early age by our Grandmother, for which she excelled. Her needlepoint and cross-stitching were beautifully crafted and placed into many frames. When she wasn’t crafting, she loved watching birds, doing puzzle books, collecting jewelry, movies, watching curling and many other sports, playing games of any kind, especially Scrabble, sappy romances, Disney movies, collecting Avon, and was a lifelong follower of Coronation Street. She enjoyed a cup of Tea and great conversation with her club groups. She was an avid fan and attended live events of wrestling. She had a passion to create and was an amazing cook and baker. Many family and friends received her famous caramel popcorn at Christmas.
This lovely gal would stay with our Grandmother in her later years for weeks at a time, caring for her. When mom required extensive home care after dad passed, us sisters rearranged their home, and Rosanne moved in and together we cared for her till our mom’s passing. She stayed in contact with all the seniors in our family; a friendly phone call to say hello, or she generously gave away her knitted items or made you a homemade baked treat. Rosanne was a stranger to no one. If you were close enough to have a chat, she would always engage. That was her demeanour, she was kind, sweet, loving, friendly, selfless, thoughtful and caring. Every hug she gave was precious. And she was a hugger!
Her unfortunate health issues this past year started to keep her grounded at times, and the battles became more frequent. Our last family gathering together was Easter. It was enjoyed with laughter, a great brunch followed by many games, along with a FaceTime with her nephew in BC. The day before she passed, she went out to dinner with friends. Unfortunately, her health challenges finally defeated her and she passed late evening on May 27th.
We will miss her smile, her laugh, her silly jokes, her late-night phone calls, and her tender way of always calming any storm that arose.
Fly free, our beautiful angel!
“God takes my yesterdays, he keeps my tomorrows, he gives me today, and I’m the miracle of it all. He promises me an eternity with him”!
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life date for Rosanne will be announced at a later date.
