It is with great sadness that the loved ones of Roger Komick announce his passing on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Beloved husband of Liz and devoted Father of Rick, Rob (Chrissy), and Ryan (Mandy).
Grandfather to his treasured grandchildren Holly, Wyatt, Heather, Cole, and fiancée Susie (Serenity and Loci), Sian and Jade.
Brother to Fred (Brenda), Deb (Marty), Vance and Ted.
Brother-in-law to Louise Komick; Mary and Jake Wiebe; Margaret and Ken Palchinski; John and Eva Unruh; Dave Unruh; Martha Unruh; and Helen and Chris Chatlain.

Roger was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Kay Komick; his brother Mike; his sister Angie and brother-in-law Stan Tutkaluk; his parents-in-law Abe and Eva Unruh; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tina and Corney Friesen.

Born in Kamloops and raised in Alberta before settling in Saskatchewan, Roger enjoyed camping, quadding, hunting, playing games with his boys, and simply watching a movie with them.

He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing games, hosting crokinole tournaments, sharing his “When I was your age” stories, and admiring their many works of art.

He enjoyed the trips to Nashville, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and cruises with his brothers and sisters.

He worked as a truck driver for Safeway, the Department of Highways, Siemens Laser Works and in retirement hauled gravel for 7 years.

We thank the Doctors and Nurses in Neurology at RUH for the kind care they gave Roger.

Roger's Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the Warman Berthaler Mennonite Church, 206 2nd Street, Warman, SK.
