Robin Darren Davison, 57, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, passed away on May 2, 2025, at Parkridge Centre, where he had lived the last year of his life.
Robin was born on July 24, 1967, in Trail, B.C., to Ralph “Whitey” Davison and Reata Davison (née Drury). The family lived in several communities across British Columbia before settling for a time in Abbotsford, where Robin began school in a program for children with special needs. He later graduated from high school in 1997. From a young age, Robin learned to read, print, and use a calculator with ease.
He was active in Special Olympics during his school years and especially enjoyed swimming and bowling. But above all, Robin loved to socialize with friends and family. In later years, he spent much of his time reading and watching television—particularly soap operas and videos. He meticulously documented actors and their roles, often asking his mom to help him gather more facts. Over time, he built an impressive library of DVDs and detailed Wiki information.
In 2008, Robin and his family moved to Saskatoon to be closer to relatives. He is survived by his loving mother, Reata, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from both the Davison and Drury families.
He was predeceased by his father, Ralph “Whitey” Davison, in 2021, and by his older sister, Laurie, who passed away at an early age from cancer, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Robin was deeply loved and brought joy to everyone he met. His kind spirit and warm heart enriched the lives of all who knew him.
In memory of Robin, the family invites donations to Saskatchewan TeleMiracle, to aide our Citizens with special needs.
Rest in peace, dear Robin.
Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with Robin’s Care.
