Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ray Allen Isbister on July 16, 2026, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, surrounded by loved ones.

Born April 13, 1949, in Mildred, Saskatchewan, Ray lived a full and colourful life, leaving behind many wonderful memories.

Ray's greatest passions included cars, dancing, darts, pool, and driving. He began his career in the auto body industry, taking great pride in his work and beautiful paint jobs. He was a hard worker who never believed in doing a half-ass job.

Dancing was a true passion. Ray received awards for dancing in his younger years and continued to rip up the dance floor right until the end. Those famous "rubber legs" of his were something to see!

Music, especially Elvis, oldies, and country, was another important part of Ray's life. He will also be remembered for his contagious sense of humour, stories, laughter, and unmistakable personality.

Above all, Ray was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind his three daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory with them.

Ray was predeceased by his mother, Kay Pidhorny, and his brother, Don Isbister.

Ray lived his own way- with hard work, music, cars, laughter, and dancing. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Keep dancing, Ray. Save us a spot on the dance floor.

Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Mr. Isbister.
