Phyllis Rose
Ternofsky
Sep 9, 1929 — Oct 4, 2026
Saskatoon
With heavy hearts, the family of Phyllis Ternofsky announces her peaceful passing on October 4, 2026, at the age of 97 years.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Heather (Darrell) and her son Ferlin.
Phyllis lived a full and meaningful life, finding joy in the simple things she loved. She was a kind and gentle woman. Her passion was bowling and she was always up for a weekly challenge with her teammates. Every game she played was a friendly competition. Another passion of hers was bingo.
She was known for her work ethic and kindness, serving many patrons with plates of food with a six plate advanced multi-plate arm balance technique she had. Phyllis spent her time working over the years at Pinders Lunch Counter, Husky Restaurant, and Peter Place, where she made many memories throughout the years.
She held a deep affection for dogs, and horses she raised and trained throughout her life.
Phyllis will be remembered for her kind heart, the things she loved, and the many people and animals who brought her joy.
In keeping with Phyllis’s wishes, there will be no service.
"Make the most of every moment."
Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with Phyllis Ternofsky's the care and arrangements.
