Philip Daniel "Dan" Hill

Dan was an affectionate, dedicated, loving and hard working man. Dan was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit and witty sense of humour. He was always ready to give a helping hand and offer words of comfort and wisdom to whomever needed it. Dan’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all who were honoured to have the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirt.

He loved us all and will be greatly missed.

A Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says “ Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how truly I was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again.”
