With heavy hearts and deep gratitude we announce the passing of Peter Regier on June 13, 2026. Peter passed away peacefully at the age of 87 in the morning at the Hospice at Glengarda in Saskatoon, SK surrounded by his daughters, Serena and Tammy.

Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years Marie Regier (Kessler); his children, Tammy (Mike) Balazsi, Serena (Tony) Landry, and Brent (Raelene) Regier; five grandchildren, Gage (Shae) Balazsi, Levi (Taylor) Landry, Cole Balazsi, Ethan (Brianna) Landry, and Jonah Landry; and great-grand children, Sophia and Mavis Balazsi.

Peter was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose kindness, humour, and steady presence touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of sharing in his life.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19th at 2:00 PM at Cherished Memories Funeral Home, 591 Centennial Drive North in Martensville, SK. Anyone who knew Peter is welcome to attend to celebrate his life

In honour of Peter’s over 60 years of loyalty and love for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, those attending are encouraged to show their Rider pride by wearing green and white.
