Peter Froese

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Peter T Froese. He left peacefully into God's glory early Saturday morning, June 12, 2025. What a hole he will leave.

Peter will be deeply missed by his wife Margaret and his son William, and Charlotte Froese, daughter Marie, and Dan Klassen and son-in-law Marlin.

His grandchildren Tracy Froese, Kaylee Froese, Alicia (Keenan) Regehr, Robyn (Jordan)Lowen, McKayla (Jeff) Nikel, and Alex (Hailey)Froese. Also, 7 great-grandchildren that will never truly know the love of their great-grandfather. Sophia, Hazel, Ezra, Savannah, Eden, Vanessa, and Isabella.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Froese (our mom), and his eldest daughter, Helena Wall. His parents, John and Helena Froese, his siblings Jake Froese, Abe Froese, Helen Fehr and siblings-in-law Frank Guenther, Ester, Edna, Susan, Betty, Suzie Froese, and John Unruh.

Peter was born January 26, 1935, to John and Helena Froese on the farm near Gruenfeld, Saskatchewan. He was 3rd of 11 children. He went to the Penner school for a few years and always wished he could have gone longer.

Peter was baptized at the Bergthaler church by Bishop Abraham Buhler upon the confession of his faith.

Peter married Margaret Neufeld July 1, 1956, in Warman. They raised their family in Warman. And dad was all about family. He loved his children deeply and his grandchildren more deeply, if that’s possible?

He was a strong Christian man of faith and taught his children the values of love, kindness, gratitude, gentleness, and honesty.

Peter was a trustworthy and fair businessman. His integrity and work ethic was and is displayed across this city and the Rosthern valley. Many basements, sewer lines, graveled streets, and driveways are here, done by Peter Froese.

After mom passed away dad remarried Maragaret Neufeld. Dad and Margaret were married June 23, 2012. They spent 13 years together. Living out their aging years together. They moved into North Haven in 2017. They spent many hours playing games. Both seemed to have a fun competitive spirit.

Dad spent his 90th birthday in the hospital earlier this year. Returning home with an oxygen tank wasn’t his idea of fun but it didn’t stop him. He spent many hours in the workshop at the Haven building toys. He was working in that shop up until an hour before he passed.

He will be dearly missed and leave a huge hole in the lives of those who knew him.

Peter's Funeral Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Warman Bergthaler Church, 206 2nd St, Warman, with Bishop Howard Perers officiating. Interment to follow in Schoenwiese Cemetery.
