Michael Slawko Sapchuk

It is with deep sadness the family of Michael Slawko Sapchuk (Mike) (July 9, 1955 – May 1, 2022) announces his passing Sunday May 1, 2022, at St. Paul’s Hospital.

He is survived by his mother Olive Sapchuk, his brother Johnny Sapchuk, his sister Mary (Helen) Sapchuk and nephew Maxwell Sapchuk.

Mike enjoyed planting and tending to his garden. He watched it grow every year from seed to a full backyard of fresh vegetables. Each year he had a bountiful harvest, the envy of any avid gardener. He shared his harvest with many people over the years.

He also enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. He had, in more recent decades, found a community with the Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Mike will be missed by many

A Funeral Service is to be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 11:00 am, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1636 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon, SK. Arrangements have been entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home (306) 934-4888.
