IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Glenn
Peters
May 21, 1963 – December 6, 2025
Mike was born on May 21st, 1963, and passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer on December 6th, 2025, at the Hospice at Glengarda in Saskatoon.
Mike was the third of four children born to John and Sara (Hildebrandt) Peters. He spent his early years until age 6 in Rosthern and Laird, then most of his remaining life in Osler and area.
Mike was a very mischievous and curious child. He would push the limits every chance he got. He had an overactive mind which created new adventures, regardless of the outcome. He wasn’t afraid to try almost anything, and he definitely lived in the moment. He loved spending time with his cousin, just living life to the fullest. The weekend camping and fishing trips to the lake with family and relatives were always fun. He spent a lot of time with the go-cart our dad made, especially spinning around with someone on the inner tube that was tied behind it. Going out to the old barn shooting his pellet gun was also a favorite pastime.
From a young age, he was interested in cars and engines, which turned out to be his lifelong passion. With his expert ability and natural skill, he was able to trouble shoot almost any issue that came his way. He also drove Semi and hauled hay bales using the self-unloading trailer that his dad built. He was a skilled welder and fabricator and was always able to find a creative way to build exactly what was needed.
Mike is survived by his children: Joshua, Jessica (Brad) Gear, and Justin. His grandchildren: Riley, Kaylyn and Logan. His mother Sara Peters, and his siblings: Gloria (Lawney), Harold (Sharon) and Shirley (John). 5 Nephews and their families, numerous cousins, aunts & uncles, and friends. He was predeceased by his father John, nephew Aaron Hiebert, four grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
