Michael Keith Scheibelhoffer
It is with great sadness that our family shares that Michael Keith Scheibelhoffer passed away on November 24th at 9:48pm, at the age of 66. Though his battle with cancer was brief, he remained strong and compassionate. He was a great brother, uncle, cousin, father, husband and friend. He will be missed dearly by his wife Tiffany Blair, daughter Dylan Scheibelhoffer, son Wilson Scheibelhoffer, and pups Roonie, Luci, Freya and Bea. Our neighbours all smiled when they saw him walking his pack of pups.
Michael and his brother Chuck Scheibelhoffer have owned the Clothes Café on Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon since 1991, and he will be remembered for his business and keen eye for fashion. He loved nothing more than spending his days on Broadway, either having a coffee outside, going for a walk, or being in the shop, it wasn’t just a workplace to him. Since the store opened in 1991, Michael was able to foster countless relationships, and we are forever grateful to the community that supported him.
Michael was from a large family in Melville, Sask. His sisters Sherri, Nancy, Cory, Dena and Trina, and brothers Chuck, Dave, Chris and Joel and their families loved him dearly. He was pre-deceased by his mother Lucille and father Frank Scheibelhoffer. Tiffany’s family and close friends supported him with love and quiet chats. We enjoyed many large family and friend gatherings on holidays, backyard bbq’s, and music video sessions – Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Gary Moore to name a few of his favorite artists. He loved to golf, swim and enjoyed his spin classes. He was always up for a kitchen party, cup of coffee, or house/backyard renovation.
Throughout his life, he had several careers, including CN train engineer, teacher, and business owner. He was proud of his children Dylan and Wilson, and his wife Tiffany for their dedication to their university studies and their career paths.
Our family wishes to thank the staff at Royal University Hospital and his Physician team for caring for Michael with compassion and kindness. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Our family invites donations to the Royal University Hospital Foundation, in honour of Michael Scheibelhoffer. 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon SK S7N-0W8. Or visit ruhf.org. Our family will create a lasting memory in his name.
