Mary Delia Black

Our hearts are saddened to announce that Mary Delia Black passed away on December 5, 2023, in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK., at the age of 87 years.

"Mama Delia" is lovingly survived by her children Rosanne, Russell (Maryanne), Rosalie (Gaitan), Norma (Duane), Kevin (Stephanie), and Reggie; grandchildren Shaniya, Katy, Heather, Jaz, Russ, Matthew, Mitchell, Nikita, Mariyanna, Nicole, Natalie, Natasha, Natanis, Michael, Miles, Dana, and Nolan; 27 beautiful great-grandchildren; adopted daughter Dora Lariviere; siblings Noel (Celina), Victor, Rheda (Robert), Abby, Randy (Celestine), and Chelsea; sister-in-law Margaret McIntyre; aunties Margaret, Maryjane, and Monique Wolverine; godchildren Bruce Wolverine and Charlene Black; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband August Black; son Tsa'Ban; parents J.B. & Cecile McIntyre; grandparents Norbert & Madeline McIntyre and Thomas & Bernadette Wolverine; sister Evon McIntyre; brothers Rene McIntyre, Ovide McIntyre, Noel (baby), and Joseph (baby); in-laws Lillian McIntyre, Linda McIntyre, Noel D'jonaire, and Phillip Maurice.

Wake Services will begin on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the William Apesis Memorial Hall, Patuanak, SK.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church, Patuanak, SK. Interment to follow.
