With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Suzette Ocampo Buenaventura, lovingly known as Tetet or Kurette, who went home to be with the Lord at 49 after a courageous battle with cancer. She now rests in the loving presence of Jesus and her beloved parents.

Tetet leaves behind her devoted husband, Aries Buenaventura, and her three cherished children, Seth (11), Saul (9), and Selah (7). She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, known for her infectious laughter, humour, and the joy she brought to every room. Her love for family ran deep; she desired and achieved reuniting all her relatives and their families in Canada and always opened her home, sharing generously with all in need.

A talented cook and entrepreneur, Tetet inspired those around her with creativity and determination, running Mamu's Corner and touching countless lives with her hospitality and warmth. She boldly showcased her faith, sharing her testimony to glorify Jesus even through the toughest days of her illness, leaving a legacy of love, courage, and unwavering faith.
