Margaret attended Simmons and Lost River schools. Margaret worked at the Smith Store in South Allan and at the J. J. Weninger Store in Allan. In 1952, Margaret married Roland Aubert, who was born and raised in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. They moved to Regina, where both were employed. With Margaret working at the Simpson Sears catalog warehouse. In February 1953, they moved to the family farm south of Assiniboia. In 2002, they retired to Allan. Roland died in 2009, and then in the fall of 2010, Margaret moved to Saskatoon. There she enjoyed condo life, making many more lasting friendships and learning to be a very independent senior. In 2023, she moved to a care home until her passing. Margaret had many talents, besides her photography and love for flower gardening, she also enjoyed travelling. She was a great baker, and she was well known for her apple pies, tarts, jelly rolls, and her famous turkey dressing. Never had a turkey without it, and we all loved it so much we had to bake a separate roaster of just dressing. There was plenty of freezing and canning, chicken, fruit from our tree, and jams and jellies.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Tom Hulm, her brother Frank, and her husband Roland.
She is survived by her children Karen (Larry), Joan (Daryle), Bryan (Cindy), Alan (Carol), and Steven (Angeline). Her 8 grandchildren, Chris, Scott (Wanda), Jenn (Chris), Jade (Riley), Amanda (Michael), Bryanna, Brody, and Preston. Her 4 great grandchildren, Addison, Kian, Rhen, and Harper.
