The sudden & eternal rest of Lydia Rodyck occurred on July 2nd at her home in Saskatoon at the age of 85. 

She was born in the Benito/Thunderhill area in Manitoba on January 30th, 1941. Lydia is survived by her husband Nick Rodyck; her son Rick (Brenda) Rodyck; her daughter Melanie (Dennis) Downing. Her grandchildren Rachel Rodyck & Declan Rodyck (Effie); Devin Downing (Jeremy) & Kyle Downing (Brittany), and her beloved great grandson Jaxon Downing, all of Saskatoon. Her brother Mike (Esther) Zbirun and sister Sadie Zanin of Calgary. As well as her step-grandchildren, Charlie (Twyla) Downing; Matthew Downing (Christine); Graham (Jennifer) Downing. And step great-grandchildren Lucas & Bailey (Brandon); Jacob & Jessica; Tanner, Ryan & Jeremy. For her, the word “step” never entered her mind. Lastly a large number of nieces & nephews (great, great & greats) across Canada & relatives in USA and Ukraine.

The Funeral Service will be held at Fairmont Baptist Church, 333 Fairmont Drive in Saskatoon, Saturday, July 11th at 10:30 am.
