Obituary

Lucas Chello Terlesky

We are heartbroken to share the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, Lucas Chello Terlesky, on August 13, 2026. There are no words that can truly express the depth of the love we have for him or the pain of losing him. He brought a light into our lives that will never be forgotten, and his place in our hearts will forever remain.

Lucas Chello Terlesky was born on June 8, 1994, in Provost, Alberta. He spent the majority of his childhood on the family farm east of Assiniboia.

Lucas leaves to cherish his memory: Mom, Rochelle and Jason (Jayden); Dad, Warren and Terra (Ryann and Morgan); Brothers, Logan and Shay (Colter and Nash) and Kyler and Cheyenne.

He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandparents Brenda, Brian, Gerry, Greg, Nichole, Bonnie and Barry; Aunty Nicole and Uncle Tyler (Autumn and Quinton); Uncle Colton and VeraLynn (Larissa and Grace); Aunty Nicolle and Sammy; Aunty Wilma (Derra and family) and Aunty Sheri and Uncle Curtis and their families. He leaves behind a large circle of extended family and friends who loved him dearly, as well as his beloved dog, Frank.

Lucas graduated from high school in Assiniboia in 2012. He continued his education and received his Red Seal Endorsement in Heavy-Duty Truck and Transport Technician. He went on to pursue many opportunities to further his career and took great pride in being a mechanic.

Lucas was an avid gamer, he loved family game nights, listening to music, was an amazing cook, enjoyed playing football, and watching his favourite team the Toronto Maple Leafs. What he enjoyed most was simply being with his family, especially the time he got to spend being an Uncle to Colter and Nash.

Frank the pug was his companion through the best and worst of times. The two of them were inseparable and shared a bond like no other. Frank brought friendship, comfort, and unconditional love, and will forever be a special part of Lucas’ story.

Though our time with Lucas was far too short, we will always be grateful for every moment, every memory, and every part of the beautiful person he was. His life touched so many, and his love will continue to live on in all who knew him.

“Some losses are so deep, they change the shape of your heart… and still love remains.”

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026 in Cherished Memories Funeral Chapel, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville.
