Liza Dawn Merasty

It is with saddened hearts that we announce Lisa Dawn Merasty passed away at the age of 44 years, on March 9, 2024, in Vancouver, B.C. Liza was born on March 21, 1979, in Meadow Lake, SK.

Liza is survived by her parents Carol Mirasty and Leonard Bear; children Erica Merasty, Jeshua Merasty, Joelle Fiddler-Merasty, Madison Merasty, Cody Merasty, Darsanna Merasty, Jorja Merasty, Jeno (Josh) Merasty and Jaziah Merasty-Gaskin; grandchildren Christopher Lachance, Mia Merasty-Ryhorchuk, Eva Merasty-Ryhorchuk, Azalea Merasty, Annabelle Kucher-Merasty, Kylan Merasty, Enzlie Merasty, Lydia Lasas-Merasty and Roland Lapratt.

Liza was predeceased by her son Joey Fiddler-Merasty; brothers Jenda Mirasty and Shawn Bellegarde-Bear; grandson Zayn Graham; grandparents Joe Bear, Yvonne Bear. Mike Merasty, Nora Merasty.

Wake Services will begin on Sunday, March 24, 2024, 2:00 p.m., Flying Dust First Nation, SK. 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Flying Dust First Nation, SK. Interment to follow.
