Linda Dianne Keller (nee Thrower) passed away on November 19, 2023, at her home, at the age of 73 years.
Left to cherish her memory, is her beloved husband of 40 years, Donald Keller; brothers John Thrower, and Doug (Katrina) Wenzel; step-brothers Warren (Denise) Wenzel, and Darrin (Jen) Wenzel; step-sister Debbie (Greg) Inman; brothers-in-law Lorne (Sandra) Keller, Kelvin (Rose) Keller and Melvin Keller; sisters-in-law Karen (Gary) Walz, Kathy Keller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Matthew Keller; father Bill Thrower in 1973; mother Ella (Thrower) Wenzel; step-father Mel Wenzel; parents-in-law Joe & Helen Keller.
Linda was born and raised in North Battleford, SK. She became a medical lab technologist and worked in Saskatoon, Vancouver, and Victoria, until she sustained a fall in 1978, which resulted in a long term disability due to a spinal cord injury. Later, she worked in telephone marketing and market research. She was actively involved in the pro-life movement.
In 1983 Linda married Don Keller. Don and Linda were able to remain independent in their home with the help of CCAS nurses, family and friends.
She had fond memories of trips before marriage to England, Scotland, and to Salem, Oregon for “Jesus North West” with the Victoria Young Adults Group. Don and her later went on camping trips and once to Tofino, B.C. with their van, plus many other trips.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25th at St. Patrick’s Parish, 3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon at 1 pm.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Canadian Bible Society, Campaign Life Coalition SK, or the SK Voice of People with Disabilities.
