We are saddened to announce that Kimberly Gail Doerksen, beloved daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, passed away on July 5th, 2025, in Saskatoon, SK. Kimberly was born on June 21, 1973, in Nipawin, SK.
Those who met with Kim were always greeted with a smile, and an introduction to those around her, such as “This is my brother, sister, friends, etc.”
Everyone was Kim’s friend, and family members were special. Having company or visitors were points of highlights in her life. With Kim, anyone was welcome. Going out for coffee or a meal was accepted with glee.
Kim spent many years, until she was no longer able, working at Cosmopolitan Industries in Saskatoon. She rarely missed a day of work and only missed if it was replaced with seeing someone or having visitors.
If she wasn’t working or visiting, Kim spent many hours making cards for special people in her life. She really had fun with her papers, tape, and scissors. Stickers of all kinds were used on every card.
Kim loved playing games and wanted to be a part of any game, but especially UNO, Skipbo, and Go Fish. Playing Golf with Skipbo cards always entertained.
Kim had a love for Jesus, and unparallelled, uncomplicated faith that brought her peace and joy. Songs of praise would often be heard from her lips. When Kim’s dad passed away almost two years ago, Kim’s life dramatically changed. Kim’s dad’s dedication to her was unsurpassed. Kim was fortunate to have been placed at Sherbrooke Community Centre after her care needs became overwhelming, however she missed her dad deeply. Near the end, she began to speak about being with her dad and wanting to be where he was in heaven.
Kim will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, but especially her step-mother Mary Doerksen, her mother Marilyn Earl, brother John (Lynn) Doerksen, sister Brenda (Gary) Pepin, step-sister Heather (John) Friesen, step-sister Helen (Ray) Olfert, along with her nieces, nephews and their children: Amy, Rachel, Vivian, Sarah, Tabitha, Kelton, Shyla, Sarah, and Micah.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central Street West, Warman, SK.
