Joseph Leonard "Bones" Sylvestre

It is with saddened hearts the family of Joseph Leonard "Bones" announce his passing on July 19, 2024 at the age of 61.

Leonard Sylvestre had a great passion for what he has been doing all his life. He has been protecting us and our communities in the North for at least 35 years. He started off as a fire fighter, then made his way up. He had a a lot of commitment for his job. He loved his job and what he did, Bones loved his wife, children, grandchildren so unconditionally.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lorraine Sylvestre. His Children: Jonathan Sylvestre - Carol Sylvestre, Conrad Sylvestre -, Felicia Montgrand, Delaney Sylvestre - Sean Desjarlais, Brody Sylvestre - Finisha Durocher. Grandchildren: Tarell, Tanell, Taylie, Taytem, Taycen, Tyrese, Sharese, Dallyn, Tyrant, Alaina, Kristie, Serenity Haven. Mother: Catherine Sylvestre and numerous Brothers and Sisters.

He was predeceased by Father: Eugene (Uppa) Sylvestre. Father-in-law: John Daigneault. Friends: Steven Marceland (Chubby), Alfred Daigneault (Nuna).
