Janie went home to be with the Lord on Dec 2, 2025, at 2:55 am. She gave her life to the lord at the age of 7 and re-dedicated her life at the age of 11, and again at the age of 32.

Janie was born on November 13, 1946, to Della and Harold Weeks in Truro, Nova Scotia. She met the love of her life, Brian, in high school, and they were married on Feb 15, 1969. Adam joined the family in 1972, and Tanya followed in 1975. The family was complete and made the move west to Saskatchewan in 1978.

After a short few years in Saskatoon, the family moved to an acreage in Asquith, where her love of horses continued, and her faith brought her lifelong friendships through the community at the Asquith Baptist Church.

Brian and Janie decided to retire at Eagle Creek Regional Park in the summers and travelled to Apache Junction, AZ, in the winters, where they met many lifelong friends.

Janie, due to her strong faith in the lord, has been prepared for this journey. She is singing with the choir in Heaven for Jesus with a light in her eyes and her heart.

Janie is survived by her husband Brian Williams, son Adam Williams, daughter Tanya (Kevin) McIntyre, sister-in-law Carol (Lloyd) Hogg of Assiniboia, SK, nieces Pam (Maury) Weeks-Sparvier, Sandra (Chuck) Weeks, Nephews Jason (Tanya) Hogg, Evan (Sonia) Hogg, Danny Weeks and many great nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, Harold Weeks, mother Della Weeks, brother Eric Weeks, and sister-in-law Gwen Weeks.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a charity closest to your heart.

Janie's Celebration of Life to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Lawson Heights Alliance Church, 159 Pinehouse Drive, Saskatoon, SK. Internment to be held at a later date.
