James Lindsay Britton

November 4, 1936 — May 18, 2025

Dad passed away quietly with his family by his side. He was born in Saskatoon to Ivan and Charlotte Britton.

Dad is survived by his two sons: Brian(Joanna) and their sons, Tyler and Jeff, and Tim(Sue) and their daughter, Shea.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Bethel, and wife Jackie.

In his younger years, Dad was an accomplished ball and hockey player, moving on to coach many hockey teams in Aberdeen over the years. His real passion, however, was horses, chariots, and chuckwagon racing. Dad raised many horses over the years, starting with Welsh ponies, to Quarter horse crosses, to Thoroughbred crosses, and also enjoyed the odd horse deal.

A celebration of life for Mom and Dad will be held at a later date. At this difficult time, we would like to thank everyone who has reached out and offered support.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aberdeen First Responders by sending an e-transfer to huffman_shirley@yahoo.ca
