Henry Neufeld

Henry Neufeld of Osler, SK, went to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of October 22, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Henry was born April 20, 1943, in Aberdeen, SK, to John and Helena Neufeld. He attended the Lily South country school, where he completed grade seven. He received a Gideon Bible in school, and after reading it, he accepted Christ into his life as a young teen. Henry married Margaret Braun on December 9, 1964. He was later baptized on confession of his faith in the Old Colony Church. At about the age of 25, he rededicated his life to the Lord. 

Henry was a diligent worker, and for the majority of his life, he worked at Weldon's Concrete, Pre-Con, and CNH.

Henry faithfully served the Lord in the church for 57 years. This was in the Old Colony as a song leader. In the Osler Mission Chapel, he served as a song leader, Sunday School teacher, youth leader, deacon, and multiple church boards. He also volunteered at Bible camps.

Henry enjoyed spending time fishing, woodworking, camping, drafting, and drawing blueprints for multiple buildings. Later in life, he enjoyed gardening with Marge.

Henry was predeceased by his son Glenn Neufeld, daughter Brenda (Neufeld) Siemens, and great-granddaughter Caroline Siemens.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 60 years, Margaret, and their children. Henry's Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025, in the Osler Mission Chapel (110 6th Avenue, Osler, SK). Interment to follow at the Osler Cemetery.
