It is with great sadness that the family of Henry Richard Bear announces his passing on May 10, 2026.

Richard is lovingly survived by his Sons - Trevor & Raymond; Daughter - Shawna; Grandchildren - Shakira Campbell, Lanisha, Tanayah, Micha, Maddox Bear; Grandpa - Jaxton; Siblings - Leonard (Bernice), Lawrence, Peter (Lorna), Larry, Alma, Mary (Peter), Dora (Harold), Leona (Gary), Victoria (Dale); Numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Mother of his children - Florence George; Special Friend - Jennifer Laliberte

He is predeceased by his Parents - Joseph Michael Bear & Marie Yvonne Bear; Grandparents - Henri Daigneault & Bella Jean Lariviere, Basil Bear & Maria Serphine Merasty; Aunt & Uncle - Mary E Fleury & Joe Fleury; Brothers - Jean Baptiste Bear, John Bazil Bear; Sisters - 3 Quadruplet Sisters; Nephews - Joseph Abraham Bear, Charles Joseph Bear, Michael Roy Bear.

Henry Richard Bear's Wake Service will begin on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the Flying Dust Gymnasium, Flying Dust First Nation. His Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in the Flying Dust Gymnasium, Flying Dust First Nation. Interment will take place following his Funeral Service at the Flying Dust Cemetery.
