Helen Hunchak

Mrs. Helen (Rogowski) Hunchak of Saskatoon, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years on, March 10, 2024. Helen was born on March 29, 1928, in Manitoba. 

As a child her family moved to Big River Sk. In October 1948 She married James (Jim) Hunchak from the Blaine Lake area. They farmed and raised their family there. Helen had a love for the Bible, her family, baking and gardening. She also spent much time sharing her Bible beliefs with others, as an active member of the Blaine Lake congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. 

Helen will be sadly missed by her children, Frances McMeans, Terry (Lynn) Hunchak, Pat (Guy) Rocheleau, Janice Hunchak. Grandchildren Dustin (Raylene) Kenton (Yvette), Abre (Wade), Warren (Meagan), Jolene and Joyah. Helen was predeceased by her parents Nick and Mary Rogowski. Her husband Jim, their daughter, Sonia and her brothers Dan, Harry, and sister Jean. 

Memorial Services will be held on March 30 at 2:00 pm on Zoom with Darryl Fonos officiating.
