George passed away after a long and fulfilling life with family at his side.

George had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humour.

He was a sheet metal contractor for 60 years. He could fix or build anything.

George loved playing his guitar and singing. Watching western movies, baseball, curling and football. He also loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.

George is predeceased by his parents, Stephan and Magdelina Bay. First Wife, Marie (Fraess) Bay †1970. 13 brothers and sisters. Son, Larry George Bay †2018.

He is lovingly survived by wife, June Bay. His two daughters from his first marriage, Marilyn Bay and Sharon (Andrew) Stoelwinder. Stepsons Rod (Bev) Beherns, Trevor (Dianne) Beherns. Stepdaughter, Loretta (Don) Potvin.

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George's Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in the Scott Towers (Emerald Room), 2501 Louise Street, Saskatoon, SK.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation to Stensrud Lodge (2202 McEown Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7J 3L6 – www.jubileeresidences.ca *to purchase bus*).

Per George’s wishes, there will be no graveside service. Please join the family for lunch and fellowship after the Celebration of Life.
