Ernie was married to Carol Anne Rawlyck and was a proud father to three children. Trevor Lee Haines (passed January 8, 2003), Cayley Anne Rawlyck, and Tyler Douglas Rawlyck.
He is also survived by his nephew and godson, Adrian Rawlyck and sister-in-law Brigette Rawlyck. As well as numerous cousins and close friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, Dimitri and Olga Rawlyck, sister Darlene and brother John Rawlyck.
Ernie farmed his land in Borden and owned a business, Triad Fasteners. Both kept him extremely busy. In his earlier years, he excelled in many sports. In his later years, he enjoyed golf.
His legacy lives through his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Ernest's Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 210 Avenue M South, Saskatoon, SK. Interment to take place after his service at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 2nd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK.
