Elaine Vicky Bayley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Elaine Bayley announces her passing on September 14, 2025, just one day after her 65th birthday.

Elaine was predeceased by her mother Vesta; her daughter Michelle; her sisters Iris and Georgina; as well as her nephew Cecile and niece Shari.

She leaves to mourn her son Michael (Jenna); her cherished grandchildren Brook and Chase and their mother Chelsea; her sister Dawn; her brother Lester; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; along with many extended family members, friends, and co-workers who held a special place in her heart.

Elaine was known for her strength, her no nonsense spirit and her fierce love for those closest to her. She cherished her friends and co-workers deeply, forming bonds that were filled with laughter, support and loyalty. She lived life authentically, speaking her truth and teaching others to do the same. Beneath her tough exterior was a softer side that shone through in her compassion and care for family, friends and community.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at a later date.

A Steak Night Fundraiser in Elaine’s memory will be held at Greek House Restaurant & Dion’s Lounge at 204 33rd Street West, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on October 4, 2025, starting at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go directly to Elaine’s grandchildren. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
