On the afternoon of August 18th, Ed Regier passed away unexpectedly at the Saskatoon St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 82 years. Ed was born in Ootsa Lake, BC, to David and Betty Regier. Ed spent most of his life in Warman, where he worked for years in the carpentry industry framing houses alongside his dad and brothers. He had a love for fishing, baseball, hockey, nice cars, music, games (cribbage and crokinole) and puzzles. He was competitive in whatever he was involved in.

Some of his favourite singers included Johnny Cash, Connie Smith, Waylon Jennings, Skeeter Davis, Peggy March, Sue Thompson, and Elvis.

He is remembered by his Children - Darcy (Alana), Jennifer (Lance), Grandchildren - Brandon (Myranda), Kayden, Brett (Keishia) and Skyler (Matt) Great-grandchildren Cohen and Jaxon, Siblings - Norman, Albert (Aline), Leo (Marlene); brother-in-law, Greg McDougall; Phyllis (Bill) Stokes, Sister-in-law, Liz, Joan (Bill) Rewuski, Leona (Gordon) Olynyk, Sylvia, Kendra, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by his Parents - David and Betty, wife - Dianne, Sister - Vera, Brother - Arlie, Sister-in-law Pat, Brother-in-Law Don.

A Celebration of Ed’s life will take place Monday, at 1:00 pm August 24, 2026 at The Brian King Centre, 202 8 Ave N, Warman, Saskatchewan.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Spruce Manor Special Care Home for their care and meals.

To fulfil his last wishes, he will be laid to rest in a special spot near Warman, SK, on Saturday, August 21, 2027, at 2:00 pm.
