Edna Fabick

August 10, 1944 — April 12, 2024

With deep regret we announce the passing of Edna Lois (Halls) Fabick at the age of 79 on April 12, 2024. 

Edna was born August 10, 1944 in Unity SK, the only surviving child of Charlie and Grace (Wing) Halls. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Fabick, parents, 2 brothers in infancy, parents-in-law Joseph and Elizabeth (Duchscher) Fabick, brother-in-law Ron Fabick, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ray Horness, granddaughter Angelina Fabick and godson Tony Kornberger. She is survived by sons Shaun Fabick (Persephone), Randy Fabick (Tina) and daughter Tammy Stewart (Jim); grandchildren Micheal Fabick (Mikayla), Kristine Luciuk (Kyle), Kimberly Fabick (Jordan), Breanna Fabick (Jamie & Steph), Ashley Pochipinski (Justin), Nicole Bowers (Tomaz), Caleb Enquist (Miranda), Jesse (Jessika) and Rosalee Sawatzky, and 4 step-grandchildren Chantara and Sydney Sawatsky, Troy and Dylan Anderson; great grandchildren Scarlet and Leo Fabick, Layla, Chloe, Ryker and Tyler Luciuk, Dom and Bentley Brittain, Zander Fabick, Dexter and Maximus Bowers and Codie, Weston and Gunnar Oxby.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Marg Hilsenteger (Ken) and former daughters-in-law Carla Enquist, Debra Leoppky and Yvonne Sawatsky as well as numerous cousins and nieces and nephew.

Mom spent many years doing various jobs and ended her career retiring with Saskatoon Home Care after 15 years.  In her down time, she enjoyed going from craft sale to craft sale with dad and feeding the numerous neighbourhood cats. 

We would like to extend our thanks to the Wednesday Day Program staff at Parkridge, she truly enjoyed coming each week and visiting with you and the other clients. 

The funeral will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Cherished Memories Funeral Home located at 591 Centennial Drive N., Martensville, luncheon immediately following the service, interment at Brady Cemetery near Marsden SK later that day. Please dress casually as mom was never a formal woman.
