Obituary

Edna Evans passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2026. Edna was born November 16, 1940, in Saskatoon. She was the third child and first daughter of Joseph and Jennie Stasiuk.

Edna met David Evans when he was working in Saskatoon. Dave worked for South Construction and after their marriage in 1963 they moved to Regina. The young couple then moved to their current home in Saskatoon.

Edna is predeceased by her parents and brothers Alex and Walter. Left to mourn Edna’s passing are her sister Betty Kramer and Betty’s children William (Carolina), Malin (Alison), Jennifer (Mike), and sister-in-law Connie Stasiuk, and their children and many cousins.

Edna loved to garden and had a green thumb and shared her bounty.

Edna was a prayer warrior who placed God first in her life.

Edna was a great blessing to her family and any friends always exhorting us to pray. Edna was a member of the Marian Movement of Priests for 40+ years and coordinated the Cenacles, as well as Adoration, and Divine Mercy group.

WE LOVE YOU EDNA
