Edith Marie Megyesi

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother & sister, Edith Marie Megyesi, on May 8th, 2025, at the age of 73. 

Edie was predeceased by her parents Kalman (Charlie) Megyesi & Olga Megyesi (nee Shmyr), Step Father Stan Storzuk, brother Russell Megyesi, nephew Mark Megyesi, sister in law Tillie Megyesi, brother in law Eric Auger and sister Joan Auger who passed away just 3 months ago on Feb 4, 2025. 

She is survived by her 2 beloved sons, Adrian & Edward, and her siblings, Jerry Megyesi, Cheryl (Bill) Anholt, Karen Megyesi, Brenda Walters, Randy (Rubina) Megyesi, Matthew Alexander, Kevin (Joe) Megyesi, Keith (Jacquie) Megyesi, Reg (Tara-Lyn) Megyesi, Jeff (Holly) Megyesi, Coralee (Jonathan) Foster, along with many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Rock of Ages church for all the love and support given to Edie over the years. Also, Diamond House Care Home in Warman for the excellent care they gave Edie, and Beacon House Care home in Saskatoon. She was only there for a few weeks, but they took great care of her. Thank you.

Edie passed away peacefully in her sleep and is now with her Lord & Savior.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
