Dr. Ronald Brian Wall (Ron) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, September 11th, 2026, at the age of 73, after a long battle with Fahr's Disease. He was living at Sherbrooke Community Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the time of his death.

Ron was born on July 30th, 1953, at City Hospital in Saskatoon to Cornelius and Violet Wall. He spent his early years in Saskatoon and the surrounding area, attending elementary school (Greystone) and high school (Evan Hardy Collegiate) in Saskatoon. Faith was a cornerstone in the Wall household, with the family attending Nutana Mennonite Brethren Church.

Ron was a hard-working student who enjoyed his studies, attending Bethany Bible College after high school and eventually entering the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, graduating in 1980. After working as a doctor in Enderby, BC, and Regina, he became a family and sports physician at the University of Saskatchewan Student Health and Mediclinic on 8th Street in Saskatoon. In his later career he worked at the Spiritwood Clinic and retired in 2014.

Ron met Kaysie Averill at the University of Saskatchewan through a campus ministry, and they were married on August 13th, 1977. Between 1980 and 1986 they had four children together: Jessica, Matthew, Karsten and Amy. Ron shared his love of the outdoors with his family through several memorable camping and skiing trips. He coached his children in soccer and chess. He was an avid traveller, biker and runner, remaining active as long as he possibly could. Ron and Kaysie followed their love of the outdoors in their move to Echo Bay, Saskatchewan, in 2011.

Despite living with Fahr's, he remained committed to his practice as a physician — as a family doctor, cardiac rehab physician, and in medical relief work in Central and South America. He was known as a knowledgeable, dependable, hard-working and caring physician who took time with his patients and was respected by his colleagues and fellow staff. His faith remained a central pillar of his life in difficult times. As his illness progressed, he relied on Kaysie's care to continue living at home — both in Echo Bay and later in Saskatoon — until he moved into care in 2023, first to Saskatoon Convalescent Home and later to Sherbrooke Community Centre, where he was beloved by staff and enjoyed community life, engaging in art programs, music, church services, cribbage and chess.

Ron is predeceased by his nephew Michael, niece Laurel, and brother-in-law Garry; and is survived by his wife Kaysie; his children Jessica (Paul Morgun), Matthew (Kristin Cato), Karsten, and Amy (Mark Agar); his grandchildren Sasha and Noah Morgun, Ezra and Judson Wall, and Knox and Sarah Agar; his parents Cornelius and Violet Wall; his brothers Howie (Judy) and Murray (Lynnette);and Kaysie's siblings Jack (Dianne), Candice (Ron), Mavis, and sister-in-law Judy and many nephews and nieces.

His Memorial Service will be held at Forest Grove Community Church, Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Fahr Beyond (www.fahrbeyond.org) or to Sherbrooke Community Centre (sherbrookecommunitycentre.ca).
