It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Michael Rogers on August 29, 2026 at the age of 70.

Doug will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. 

Doug will be lovingly remembered by his brother Ron (Roberta), his nephews, Kurtis (Sherri) and Devan (Armel), his grand nephew Arthur and grand niece Anona, cousins and many cherished friends.

One of Doug's passions was cars. He was an accomplished mechanic. He bought vehicles, fixed them up and found them new homes. He also spent many weekends at various lakes partaking in another of his passions- fishing and camping.

Doug was a fiercely loyal friend, always ready and willing to help with a boost or a ride whenever anyone was in need or just a visit at his favorite coffee/eating spots. 

As per Doug's wished a private gathering will be held in his memory.
