Denise Marie Procyshyn

April 17, 1954 — October 5, 2025

Denise Procyshyn (Martineau) passed away peacefully on Sunday October 5, 2025 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Sk. She was surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer.

Denise was born on April 17, 1954 to Alonzo Jr and Cecile Martineau. Denise was the 8th child out of 11. She grew up in Vonda, Sk and enjoyed many years with her brothers, sisters and many friends throughout her childhood years. She then met the love of her life Bill in 1971. They married in the year of 1972. Together they had two children. A daughter, Roxane in 1972 and a son, Ashley in 1974. Denise was a stay at home wife and mother for many years. As the children aged, she started working as a janitor for the CIBC Bank in Vonda, then at the Roman Catholic Church and eventually cleaned at the Aberdeen School until retirement in 2016.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and took pride in her flower beds and garden, especially her rose bushes that Father Ted had given her.

Bill and Denise did everything together, they were not only partners, but best friends forever. Her family meant everything to her, even in the hospital she was more worried about everyone else but herself.
