Obituary

My beloved partner David Charles Paulow graduated to heaven May 2, 2026.

Born and raised in Hafford, Sk, he was still an active farmer until the day he left us. He worked in his profession as a Journeyman Electrician for 15 years. He was respected for his honesty, dedication, dependability, strong sense of duty and loyalty. In his work he was known for his punctuality and mental math.

He met his sweetie Carolyne in 1991 over a coffee, and they have been a couple and a team for over 35 years. He loved his family and adored the grandchildren.

He loved going to hockey games, parks, and for walks. Building snow forts. Having wiener roasts. Or just reading, playing, or napping with the kids.

He loved the simple life - being quiet in nature. Growing gardens. Cooking and baking for family. Working with his hands from mechanics to carpentry. He was a builder.

He taught us that love was shown most in the small things. Patience. Giving of self and time. He had a quiet wicked sense of humour. He practiced his faith daily and brought comfort in difficult times by just being there - strong, caring and endlessly supportive.

David will be dearly missed by Carolyne and his family, and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of David's life will take place at Martens Funeral Home in Martensville (Cherished Memories Funeral Home, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville, SK) on May 19th. Viewing at 11am, with ceremony at 1pm. Interment will follow at Hafford Community Cemetery at 430pm.

The family invites all family and friends to a gathering to celebrate David's life, and to share a luncheon and memories at the Hafford Gospel Fellowship Church (211 Main Street, Hafford, SK) following the interment ceremony.
