Colleen Rita Bernadette Livingstone

We celebrate the life of Colleen, born December 7, 1957, at St. Mary's Hospital in Biggar, SK, to Leo and Mary Hogan. Colleen moved to Saskatoon in the early 1970s and married Ken Livingstone in 1974. They eventually had two boys, Colin and Curtis, followed by three grandchildren, Seth, Connor, and Kiera.

Colleen is survived by her husband, two boys, and three grandchildren, as well as one sister, Peggy, and two brothers, Victor (Lesley) and Mickey. Also, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Colleen was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Leonard, Johnny, and Timmy, and one sister, Patsy.

Colleen was a very hard-working woman. She started working retail at the Saan store until it closed. Then she went to school to get her Special Care Aide Certificate. She got on at Luther Care, where she worked in their care homes for twenty years. Colleen absolutely loved working with seniors. Retired early in 2020 due to health concerns.

Diagnosed with lung cancer at the end of 2023, she spent her last weeks in Palliative care at St. Paul's Hospital. Even then, she hardly complained, always having a kind word for everyone, even the cleaning staff.

She was very dedicated to family, always making sure to remember birthdays and special occasions.

Eventually, her body gave out, and she could not fight anymore. She was ready to go home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers, make donations in Colleen's memory to St. Paul's Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 1702 20th Street West, S7M 0Z9.

Colleen's Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the Pleasant Hill Church, 111 Witney Avenue, Saskatoon, SK.
