Shebelski
July 7, 1944 – February 10, 2026
It is with deep sadness and many tears that we have to announce the passing of Clarence John Shebelski on February 10, 2026, after a strong a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Clarence was born July 7, 1944 to proud parents Peter and Helen Shebelski and was the eldest of three children.
Clarence attended Bedford Road Collegiate and upon his graduation he started his long and dedicated career in the grocery industry as a bag boy for O.K. Economy.
He was transferred to the Wholesale Division, consistent promotions followed to Assistant Branch Manager and then to Branch Manager, Shelly Western Wholesale Branch. Clarence was also fortunate enough to work in an industry that was one of his great passions, golf, as a part owner of Nevada Bobs and as a sales associate for Golf Town.
Clarence enjoyed being a member of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon working with a group of local men as a team to implement positive change in the community.
He also loved all sports, hockey, baseball, football, and curling. Golfing was his passion.
Clarence enjoyed vacations which took him to Florida, the Bahamas, Portugal, Puerto Vallarta, Arizona, Western Caribbean Cruise, California, Las Vegas and Hawaii his favorite.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Helen as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Clarence will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rose (nee Korchinski) and daughter Shantelle (Richard). He is also survived by his sister Gloria, brother Bob (Maureen) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and one very special canine friend Winston.
Clarence was a people person who enjoyed life as well as making friends everywhere that he went. His friendly smile could light up a room and it was usually accompanied by a story or two and some laughter.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Dalmeny Spruce Manor Special Care Home for the compassion and over and above care shown to Clarence and his family throughout his stay with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Clarence on Sunday, April 26, 2026, 1:30 p.m. at the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club.
Donation in memory of Clarence may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Clarence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
