Born to Peter M Peters and Tina (Harms) Peters, she lived with her parents and large family on a dairy farm west of Warman, where she said she had to milk the cows by hand. 

On July 14, 1957, she was married to Bill (William) Siemens, and she settled into being a wife and homemaker. They initially lived near Warman, but then in 1962 they moved to the Edmonton/St. Albert area.

Mom looked after the 5 kids, the home and even worked outside the home cleaning for others. 

In 1974, Mom and Dad moved to Tofield to run the grocery store they bought, then later worked together in the cabinet shop until retirement. 

Mom loved her family. She crocheted a lot until she discovered a passion for making quilt tops for the church ladies to make blankets for MCC to send overseas. All the grandchildren got a blanket from her. 

In the last few years, her passion for Christ grew by reading her bible, listening to gospel music and going to church. She really enjoyed the groups of singers when they came to the home. She was often found humming or singing. 

Christine is survived by her children Ken (Judy), Laura (Bruce), Gordon (Marianne), Randy (Polly) and Rosa (Jeff); 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, 5 siblings, and her husband, Bill, of 64 years and 2 grandchildren.

Christine's Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026, in the Warman Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 206 2nd Street, Warman, SK. with Rev. Henry Janzen officiating.
