Braydon Bretzer

May 1, 1993 — May 25, 2025

It is with absolute broken hearts that we announce the passing of our fun-loving son Braydon in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, living his best life. He is survived by his parents, Colleen and Darryl, his brother Ashton, his sister Chalynn, along with her husband Adam and their baby due in September, his grandpa John, his nana Yvonne, all his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his incredible group of friends.

Braydon was born May 1, 1993 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was very energetic and full of life from a very young age. Always a sports fanatic, even before he could read he would know which team beat who just by their logos.

He was an exceptional athlete and played soccer at a high level making the provincial team several times and playing in Nationals with his club team. He also loved playing and watching basketball as well as most sports.

He enjoyed all the planned events with his group of friends. River floats, Big River camping weekend, golf tournaments and the list goes on. He also had a strong love for animals, which started at a very young age, especially for cats. As we all know!!

After high school, Braydon went to Lakeland College in Lloydminster on a soccer scholarship, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He has so many friends from college that he has kept in touch with over the years. After moving back to Saskatoon, he started his travels. He spent 10 months backpacking in Southeast Asia. Then took trips to Italy, Portugal, Central & South America, and then back to Mexico, where he spent his last 3 months. He had so many friends he met travelling as well. He loved adventure and truly lived life on his terms. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
