On Saturday November 26, 2022, Dad went to be with Jesus at the age of 89. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great granfather. Dad’s faith was very important to him, he loved to ask people if they knew Jesus. Mr. Bernhard K Bueckert, son of the late Jacob & Aganetha Bueckert, was born on October 4, 1933, in Schoenwiese Sask.

He liked to stay busy with family, work, building projects, outdoors/fishing and puzzling. He was a diligent worker, caring well for his family.

On August 7, 1955, he married Nettie Teichroeb. They were blessed with 8 children. He was a proud grandfather of 26 grandchildren and 41 great granchildren.

He is survived by his wife Nettie and his children, son Don (Sharon), Daughter Julieanne (Mike Ginther), son John (Annie), son Paul (Mary), son Joe (Raine), daughter Barbara (Wilmer Friesen), daughter Eva (John Harder) and son Philip (Tara)

His granddaughter Delicia Joy Ginther and his granddaughter Kim’s husband Craig Vickery

Dad was a beacon of sunshine and joy to all those around him, bursting with energy, full of life. From riding his bike, to building snow forts with his grandchildren and riding the zipline at our annual family camp. He also looked forward to fishing trips and campouts with his boys. He was an avid flames fan, assisting his beloved team to victory in his favourite flames pajamas. Dad truly lived, enjoying all the little things in life. He left an incredible legacy of a faith filled family and he will be greatly missed.
