Baden Cameron Boyenko

September 24, 1996 — October 14, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and big brother Baden Cameron Boyenko on October 14, 2025.

Baden was born September 24, 1996 at RUH in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to excited and very proud parents James and Romy.

Baden is survived by his parents James and Romy and brother Jordan. Also mourning the loss of Baden are his maternal grandparents Mearlin and Shirley Smith; Uncle Brent and Auntie Gloria Boyenko; Uncle Dean and Auntie Paula Carnago, and cousins Anthony (Breeanna), Elizabeth, and Michael.

Baden has been greeted in heaven by his paternal grandparents Fred (1930 – 1984) and Verna (1936 – 1995) Boyenko.

From a very young age Baden’s determination and strong will showed through. This determination and strength helped him to achieve so many great accomplishments in his life.

Baden attended Father Robinson Elementary School, and graduated Grade 12 from St. Joseph High School in 2014. Baden graduated from Genesee Community College in 2019, and graduated from Lewis University in 2024.

Baden had an extreme love for all sports, Lacrosse being the strongest love of all. His love of Lacrosse saw him traveling all over Canada and the US to play for various teams including Genesee College and Lewis University. Baden’s hard work and passion lead him to be captain of both the Genesee Cougars and the Lewis Flyers.

One of the many highlights in Baden’s life was his recent visit back to Lewis University for the Alumni weekend and receiving his GLVC Championship Ring and spending time with his Lacrosse brothers and Coach Perruzzi.

At the time of Baden’s passing, he was working with HCC at the Nutrien Rocanville Potash. Baden found a new way to be a great team member off the field with his work crew. He was excited for what the future may hold.

Baden was the best big brother, always there for his little brother for all the ups and downs. Their love of lacrosse and motocross strengthened their bond, as Jordan always wanted to do anything his big brother was doing.

Baden was a true and loyal friend. His compassion and devotion for his friends was one of his greatest traits. Baden would go out of his way to help any of his friends or team mates.

As those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever, we know our Baden will be carried in the hearts of so many.
