It is with great sadness that the loved ones of Annie Opikokew announce her passing on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the age of 95.
Annie is Lovingly Survived By Children: Rita Bouvier (Paul Jacoby), Cecile Jarrett, Wesley (Vilma) Landry-Opikokew, Richard (Donalda) Opikokew, Calvin (Laurie) Opikokew, Lorraine (Johnny) Kennedy, Wade Opikokew and Jackie Opikokew-Fiddler - Numerous Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Beloved like a daughter: Cheryl Rediron-Hagen
Predeceased By Husband: Louis Opikokew, Parents: Joseph & Flora Bouvier,13 Siblings: Louis Bouvier, Jean ‘Bebe’ Morin, Melchoir Bouvier, Albertine Bouvier, Napolean ‘Nap’ Bouvier, Andrew ‘Andre’ Bouvier, Gibert Laliberte, Madeline Durocher, Margaret Roy, Evangeline Laliberte, Prosper Daigneault, Lena Chartier & Victor Daigneault Children: Brian Opikokew, Flora (Norman) Kyplain, Son-in-Law: Roy Fiddler Grandson: Calvin Bear.
Annie's Pipe Ceremony will begin on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Flying Dust First Nation Gym. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, in the Flying Dust First Nation Gym.
