Ann Malyk (Lovenuk) passed away at the age of 98 on December 27th, 2025.
Ann was born on December 26th, 1927, to John and Martha Lovenuk in the Arlee area. She married Fred Malyk on August 6th, 1948, and they farmed in Blaine Lake were they raised their three children, until they moved to Saskatoon in 1970.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting.
Mom worked at RUH for twenty-two years and retired in 1992, and spent her time entertaining, curling, golfing, playing cards and some travelling.
She is predeceased by her fourteen siblings, her husband Fred in June 1979, and her son Rick in June 2024.
She is survived by her children, Valerie (Al) Greva, Allen Malyk, granddaughters, Sheryl (Scott), Pam (Jordan), Jennifer (Chase), Britney (Brett), great-grandchildren Kody (Tylor), Keagan (Jordyn), Molly, William, and great-great-grandson Jaxyn, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
She was a second mom to many and Baba to all.
A special thanks to all the staff at Preston Special Care Home for the care and love they gave Mom.
Ann's Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, January 2, 2026, in the Cherished Memories Funeral Home, 591 Centennial Drive N., Martensville, SK.
