It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Andreas Eichner. Andreas passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 55.

He was born on July 10, 1971, in Kyrgyzstan. Throughout his life, Andreas demonstrated remarkable courage and determination, making the life-changing journey of moving across the world twice in pursuit of a better future for his family. These experiences shaped the resilient, hardworking man that so many knew and loved.

Andreas worked as a heavy-duty mechanic, a profession that reflected his dedication to craftsmanship and excellence. He was an exceptionally hardworking man and a true perfectionist, taking great pride in doing every job to the best of his ability. Outside of work, he found joy in hunting and fishing and was always dreaming of his next project or adventure. Those who knew him will remember his dry sense of humor, his quiet determination, and his unwavering work ethic.

Above all else, Andreas’s greatest accomplishment was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Viktoria; his children, Elena (Scott), Daniela (Tyler), Dominik, Galina, and Samuel; and his cherished grandchildren, Belle, Rosie, and Henry. His love, guidance, and example will remain with them always.

Andreas was a Christian who loved Jesus, and his faith was an important foundation throughout his life. His family finds comfort in the hope and promise found in Christ.

A beautiful and intimate graveside service for immediate family members was held at the Hoffnungsfelder Cemetery in Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan on August 3, 2026.

Though Andreas will be deeply missed, his legacy of faith, perseverance, hard work, and devotion to his family will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
