Obituary

With great sadness the family of Albert Fehr announces his passing. Albert passed way peacefully on April 12, 2026 with family by his side at the age of 85. Dad is now with the Lord and no longer in any pain.

Albert Fehr was born on May 13, 1940 in Great Deer Saskatchewan.

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children: Charlotte (Wayne) Schroeder and Travis (Jessica) Fehr. Grandchildren Cody Schroeder, Taylor and Samantha Fehr, Dustin (Danette) Schroeder and Darcy (Jennifer) Schroeder. Great Granchildren Johnathan, Rylie, Matthew and Anita Schroeder.

Albert was predeceased by his parents David and Maria Fehr, brothers William and Sam Fehr

Albert’s pride and joy were his children. He was always just a phone call away and there whenever he was needed. His favorite pastimes included listening to music while playing his guitar, reading his Bible, and reflecting on his favorite scriptures. He had a sharp mind and enjoyed a challenge - he could beat anyone at chess while quickly solving a Rubik’s Cube. Albert also loved going out for coffee and visiting with friends and family.

In the later part of his life, Albert lived with dementia. Despite this, he always looked forward to spending time with his children and never forgot who they were. Wednesdays were special to him, as he eagerly anticipated visits from Wes, who would play guitar for him. “Happy hour” at 4 p.m. was always a highlight of his day, thanks to Michelle and Christy, who made sure he had his beer and snacks. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Wes, Michelle, and Christy for the kindness and care they showed - treating him like family.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in Cherished Memories Funeral Chapel, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville. Interment will follow at Warman Memorial Gardens.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Sherbrooke Veterans Village for the compassionate care Albert received over the years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sherbrooke Veterans Village or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Martens Warman is honoured to be entrusted with Mr. Fehr's care and arrangements.
